Monopoint

A family of ceiling-mounted brass spotlights built to do the work of recessed lighting without cutting the ceiling apart. One minimal mounting point, an aimable beam, and the same machined-brass hardware and hand-applied finishes across every fixture — accent light, task light, or a clean alternative to a row of cans.

The Fixtures

Sec. 01 — The fixtures

Six monopoint fixtures, one idea: targeted, architectural light from a single clean mounting point. The aimable Baton Spotlight, a flush-mount for tighter ceilings, three downrod versions for height and reach, and the hand-spun Karma cone — each offered across our full range of hand-applied brass finishes and running a user-replaceable 930-lumen, 2700K LED.

Rethink Recessed

Sec. 03 — Why monopoint

Recessed cans are the default for a reason — cheap, everywhere, and easy to disappear into the ceiling. But default is the problem: they're builder-grade and uninspired, and a grid of them flattens the character out of a room. Drop them into a historic house and the ceiling suddenly reads too modern, too anonymous. A monopoint takes the opposite position — light as a deliberate, sculptural element, machined from solid brass and finished by hand in our Nashville workshop, so the fixture earns its place in the room instead of hiding from it.

Aim it where it's needed

The Baton head sits on a swivel joint, so the beam aims, tightens, and locks where you set it — onto art, down a counter, into a corner. One fixture covers focused accent work and a soft general wash, which is why a few monopoints can replace a whole grid of recessed cans.

Machined brass, finished by hand

Each fixture is built on machined solid-brass hardware for clean alignment and a low-profile canopy. The finishes — unlacquered and aged brass, pewter, blackened brass, nickel, and more — are applied by hand, so the surface carries real character and, in the unlacquered options, keeps shifting over time.

One form, six ways to mount it

Flush to a tight ceiling, aimed straight off the canopy, dropped on a 24–48″ downrod, or spun into the Karma cone. Add the optional sloped-ceiling adaptor for pitched and vaulted runs. Same brass, same 930-lumen 2700K LED engine — sized and adapted to suit the room.

Sec. 04 — Questions
What's the lead time?+

Most orders ship within six to eight weeks. Project-specific modifications run a little longer, and we'll quote the modified timeline honestly up front.

Can I get it faster?+

A limited number of priority production slots are available for an additional 10%. Choose it at checkout or ask us to add it to a quote.

Can these really replace recessed cans?+

That's what they're built for. A monopoint surface-mounts to a single point and aims its beam, so you get the control of a recessed downlight without the deep ceiling cavity or the row of holes — a real help in historic homes, exposed-beam ceilings, or anywhere the ceiling is part of the design.

Are the fixtures UL listed?+

Yes — the Monopoint collection is UL listed for dry and damp locations in North America. See each product's spec sheet for details.

What about sloped or vaulted ceilings?+

The downrod versions take an optional sloped-ceiling adaptor for pitched and vaulted installs, and the Baton head's swivel lets you level the beam from an angled mount.

Do you offer finish samples?+

Yes. We sell metal finish samples at $5 each, plus complete fixture samples. Order the finishes you're weighing, or send us a message.

Can the fixtures be customized?+

Finish, downrod length, beam, and color temperature can all be tailored to the project, and Custom is offered on every fixture. Tell us the room and we'll tell you what's possible.

Do you accept returns?+

Because every piece is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges — so grab a finish sample first if you're on the fence.
