Brass
Our brass finish is created by hand-brushing solid brass components to produce a fine, linear grain with low reflectivity. The surface has a warm yellow tone with natural variation in brush direction and pressure. This finish is unlacquered and will patina over time with exposure and handling.
Aged Brass
Our aged brass finish is created by chemically darkening solid brass, then lightly brushing the surface to reveal depth and variation. It is the most varied of our finishes. Left unlacquered, it will continue to deepen in color and develop increased tonal variation over time.
Oil Rubbed Bronze
Our oil rubbed bronze finish is created by chemically darkening solid brass to a deep brown base, then hand-brushing select surfaces to expose subtle bronze highlights. This finish has a low-sheen appearance with visible variation and is sealed to stabilize color and reduce further change.
Black Brass
Our black brass finish is created by chemically blackening solid brass, then hand-burnishing the surface to produce a glossy black appearance with visible metal grain and brush marks. Subtle variation is inherent to the process. This finish is sealed to stabilize color and limit further change.
Pewter
Our pewter finish is created by sandblasting solid brass to produce a uniform satin texture, then nickel plating the surface. The result is a soft, silvery-gray finish with low reflectivity and consistent tone. This finish is sealed for durability and color stability.
Nickel
Our unlacquered nickel finish is created by plating solid brass with nickel, then lightly finishing the surface to maintain a smooth, glossy metallic appearance. The finish is left unsealed and will naturally oxidize over time, developing subtle warmth and variation with exposure and handling.
Flat Black
Our flat black finish is a low-gloss powdercoat applied to solid brass components. The coating produces a uniform, matte black surface with minimal reflectivity and consistent color. This finish is highly durable and stable, with no expected patina or color change over time.
Satin White
Our satin white finish is a satin powdercoat applied to solid brass components. The coating produces a smooth, low-sheen white surface with even coverage and consistent color. This finish is especially durable, stable, and will not patina or change over time.
