The Oculaire Collection is defined by its use of handblown glass globes and hand-finished brass hardware. The name Oculaire, meaning “lens,” reflects the optical qualities created during the glassmaking process. Each globe is blown by hand, with additional gathers of molten glass layered and tooled by the artists to form natural distortions that create distinctive light diffusion. No two globes are identical, ensuring that every fixture is unique.
Hardware components are machined from solid brass and finished with hand-applied patinas. These living finishes are designed to age gracefully, developing character over time. Each fixture combines precision engineering with artisanal craft, offering both functional illumination and a strong material presence.
